Is the entertainer able to set the mood, whether you are looking for high crowd involvement or something more laid-back? Also, be aware that DJing and MCing simultaneously effectively is extremely difficult and a skill that requires a lot of practice and experience. Therefore, a DJ/MC who has an assistant with him or her will undoubtedly provide better entertainment and performance, as he or she will be able to focus their attention on the task at hand.
