DJ JAS was our wedding DJ two nights ago. I am so so happy with his services! He played great music and the dance floor was packed all night! He did a great job with bridal party introductions and sticking to our timeline and was really professional. It was really comforting to know he was there during a time that can sometimes be stressful. My guests said numerous times that he was great and that they loved the music. Thanks Justin; you are worth every penny!! Highly recommended!!

Dj Jas and his day of coordinator Karen Dicks were great! It was a rainy gloomy day on our wedding but Karen and Justin helped me figure out how to do the ceremony and it all worked out perfect! My guests and my husband and I danced all night long, i wasn't picky about the music i gave him just a couple genre suggestions and it all worked out more than perfect.
Karen was amazing she helped me come up with ideas for table presentations and the night went more than smooth, she was also amazing at the end of the night helping the caterers clean up our venue. They are very personable and we felt so lucky to have them a part of our day.

CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS! posted 11/4/2011
We are so happy with our decision to choose Justin Stern as our DJ for our wedding!!! He did such an amazing job! People who were planning on leaving early, stayed the whole night because they were having so much fun dancing!! My husband and I were very picky when it came to choosing a DJ. When we read previous reviews for Justin, we knew we had to meet him. He has a talent for mixing and getting ALL AGES on the dance floor. THe dance floor was so crowded, that people were dancing in the grass at our wedding!! My wedding coordinator even told me that she had never seen that many people dancing at once. I am so grateful we chose him to be our DJ. All we have are memories now, and they are of everyone dancing and having a good time. We are still getting compliments about how good the music was. Justin did a great job customizing the music to everything we had talked about in our meetings. He also came to look at the venue nearly eight months before the wedding. We live three hours away from him, and communication was still so easy. He was very responsive through emails as well as the phone. My husband and I were running behind on some things, and did not get Justin our Music TImeline until three days before our wedding. With that little of time, he still did an amazing job customizing everything, including our ceremony. He did not miss a thing. One more plus... a few weeks after our wedding, we received a nice email from him, including a video from our wedding. He sent us a ten minute, edited video of people dancing all throughout our wedding. We were so excited and are so grateful to have that!! I would definitely recommend this DJ to everyone. Everyone, from grandmas, to friends, to parents were on the dance floor. Chairs were empty! 5-star quality, 5-star service, 5-star value. Thank you Justin for making our day perfect!

My husband and I did a lot of searching around for our wedding DJ, and were so happy when we found Justin. He was very easy to work with, and the way he has his website set up took all the stress of wondering what songs were going to be played. We got to request songs, and Justin downloaded them and mixed them, so the reception had a flow. Many DJ's do not know how to do that. Justin also worked within our budget, which was a huge plus. My husband and I could not have been happier with the music at our ceromony, and reception. Justin kept the party going, we danced until we could dance no longer, and no one wanted to leave. We had many friends, and family tell us that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. Justin was a large part of that. Many thanks to JAS Productions, and I would recommend Justin with flying colors!

AMAZING doesn't even begin to cover the service we got from JAS productions!! This was probably the best investment we made for the entire wedding!! From day 1 calling I fell in love with the company and the work ethic behind the DJ. We could tell immediately that it was more than just work to him. We figured that it would be hard to find a DJ that would be able to fit our wide taste of music and not only did he do an amazing job but it was better than we could have dreamed of! The services we received including lighting is truly what made our wedding!! Even the staff from the hotel commented on how much fun the reception was! I can not thank Justin enough for everything and for making our wedding day PERFECT!!! Please use this company....YOU WILL BE NOTHING BUT AMAZED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Justin really knows his music and how to keep the crowd dancing. He listened to everything I wanted and came through on the wedding day. He has a lot of options for music and you can trust his taste. We had an epic dance party and everyone was happy!

I'd recommend Justin to anyone. My mom requested that I get a professional DJ that has experience with weddings and in my search I came across JAS Productions. He was easy to get a hold of and very supportive during the planning. He was also VERY flexible. Our nicely thought out schedule went out the door that day, but he was so pleasant and kept things running.
My venue had very strict sound requirements. He was able to work with them and still provide beautiful sound for my event.
We asked him to play a wide variety (from classic rock, motown, hip hop... everything) and he seemlessly brought it together.
He was really easy to work with and also had lots of great ideas. My family, husband, and I were really pleased with his work and service. I have no complaints!

Justin services were fanstastic. He was VERY professionals and detialed orientated. His website was very useful as well.
At the wedding, he played great music to the pulse of the wedding crowd. I highly recommend him.

We loved Justin as our DJ. He was very responsive to our needs (both organizationally and creatively), called back very quickly during the months before the wedding and was perfectly professional. We were really happy with his music selections and the quality of the sound and lighting that he brought. Highly recommended!

Justin was awesome from the get go! His website is awesome, it gives you a personal page where you choose all your songs and create a time-line. My husband and I were very specific on the feel we wanted, we wanted a club type feel but someone who could still satisfy grandma too. He provided it all even our Bay Area music! He was a great MC and really read the crowd. He was able to adjust to time-line changes on the fly and really made our night stress free. If you want a DJ that can do it all we highly recommend Justin at JAS productions!

JAS Productions is absolutely amazing! Our wedding turned out literally perfect, and a large part of that was because of Justin with JAS Productions. I am 30 years old and my wife is 28, and we wanted a DJ that could understand us and our music. I studied sound and sound production in college and worked in the entertainment industry in sound and lighting. I have a deep understanding of both music and the technical/equipment side. As such, I had a very critical eye when it came to finding a DJ and JAS Productions exceeded every expectation.
Communication: As I quickly learned, communication before and during the wedding was very important. Justin quickly responded to all emails and voicemails almost immediately during the entire 12 month planning of our wedding, even when he was out of the country! I learned that a lot of vendors can have a tired, routine tone to everything; Justin did not. He approached every task with a can-do attitude. If wedding planning wasn't hard enough, we moved to San Francisco halfway through planning our wedding in southern California, but with Justin being so great in communicating with us and being so flexible with meetings, it created no problems!
Price/Value: Having gone through everything with JAS Productions, I would have expected to pay twice as much as I did, if not more. We were very happy with what we got for as much as we did!
Equipment: We had an outdoor wedding and had a separate area for the ceremony and reception. JAS Productions had setup two different sound systems so that we could go from one to another flawlessly. Regarding the sound equipment that they supply, it is top notch! We had a very fun, loud wedding that played a lot of hip-hop music and JAS's equipment supplied an amazing low end for a great amount of bass! Additionally, we had JAS supply lighting for our cocktail area, and up-lighting for the trees and this was absolutely amazing! It made our wedding look so elegant and classy, as well as very expensive! The lights were not the 80's old fashioned look, but new LED lighting that had a very modern feel!
Ability/Execution: When we first met with Justin, he was very matter of fact with everything and we knew he would be able to make everything happen. After meeting with other typical cheesey "top 40's radio style" DJs, we were unsure if Jusitn would feel as comfortable MC'ing in front of a large group the way MCs have to. But Justin did a fantastic job! He was very clear and professional on the mic, commanding people's attention, but not cheesey and attention seeking. When I met with other DJ's I found them to be a little bit older, and a cliché ...like something my parents would choose. Justin is very fresh and energetic and very capable. As mentioned earlier, we had a fun energetic wedding and chose JAS Productions because we wanted a little bit of a club feel later in the evening. His mixing ability was second to none; one song flowed into another seamlessly! Also we knew exactly what kind of music we wanted to play at certain times, and Justin followed our instructions to a "T." When talking to our wedding coordinator after the fact, she said that JAS Productions did an amazing job "rolling with the punches" of a wedding, and easily changed his timeline as necessary.
Overall: JAS Productions provided us with amazing sound and breath-taking lighting that greatly assisted in making our wedding truly special. Many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they have been too, and once again, a big part of that is thanks to JAS Productions. Knowing what I do of JAS Productions, if I were to start my wedding planning over again in San Francisco, I would undoubtedly hire them to come all the way up and make my day great. You will not be disappointed! PS, many of my friends at the wedding are getting married soon and are interested in JAS Productions so I would contact them soon!

Justin is very friendly and responsive over email and on the phone throughout the planning process. He is detail oriented and happy to assist with the time line for your event. Also, we wanted to pick all of our own music and he was totally fine with it.

We would highly recommend JAS Productions. Justin was very good with communication and EXTREMELY detail-oriented. He was always on top of things, even when my fiance and I were not. We also LOVED the up-lights he provided for our reception hall, and his day-of coordinator was soo helpful and worth every penny! Overall, very easy to work with and made our wedding day stress-free (well, as much as a wedding day can be!).

You always dream of your perfect wedding...dress...decor...everything but most folks overlook their music. Isaac and I made it a point that we wouldn't have a disasterous DJ experience like the last two weddings we had attended. So we searched and interviewed quite a few until we felt comfortable with the price and service for a DJ. After a few weeks we came across JAS Productions...great music, hip...experienced and most importantly very, very customer oriented. After our first meeting we knew he was our guy! He returned our emails and calls promptly...and what I appreciated the most was our last conference call/meeting to discuss our schedule, music and all the little details that were important to us. He cared just like we cared.
He supported us every step of the way; our first song (our own mix), father/daughter dances (he definitely made a smooth transition for both my dads), our opening dance song and transitioned smoothly between songs..like a real DJ should. Justin/Jas Productions provided all the bells and whistles as our DJ provider. Everyone was raving about how much fun they had and our great DJ! I really appreciated the extra effort for our song and our grand entrance. We honestly had a great time planning our wedding and the music experience....we picked our playlist...to the Tee...and Justin made it happened!! He was great to work with and an awesome DJ...I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ/Entertainment service. You are empowered as a customer because he provides all the tools to make your party(wedding) a success and he makes it work:-)

Justin did an AMAZING job with our wedding. He was so professional and accessible. His website was also a great resource to help organize our musical wishes and help us envision our own wedding. Justin was also very attentive to our needs and made sure that WE were the stars of the event, not him. He also provided us with beautiful uplighting that helped set the right mood. JAS productions really went beyond the call of duty and was essential to making our day so special.

Justin was absolutely wonderful. His website was extremely helpful. (I don't think any dj has anything like it.) Justin was attentive and professional. He didn't break our bank, like the other dj quotes we got. We highly recommend him to everybody. We got so much more than we paid for.

Fantastic DJ! Doesn't just sit behind the booth and play music. He really gets into it, judges the crowd, knows what to play and what not to play and is really good at getting a party going. Definitely recommend!
